Research 3 (Max Dupain)

Max first was introduced to the camera at the age of 13, and four years later won the Carter Memorial Prize for Productive Use of Spare Time. He later joined the Photographic Society of NSW, and when he left school, he worked for Cecil Bostock in Sydney, where he started to like photography. Thats all I could find on him. I don't think his work is that great but its tolerable. The one on the top is pretty cool I like how it gets all the people below him living their dayly lives but subtly hints that the buisness man is the one being followed. Otherwise my other favorite is the stairs. 

Stalking assignment

                                                                 Stalker

1: A woman. She is small and frail looking but relaxed in the same measure. She is sitting by a pool with its glassy surface shimmering on her face. She has a small tatoo near the back of her neck. (She is sunbathing) It seems to be chineese or japaneese. Her short brown hair is crumpled on the chair. She flips over startled as a kid jumps in the pool. She looks like she is in her twenties.

2: I am following someone. He is a male. Looks like he's in his fifties or forties. He is wearing a suit and a tie and walks very professionally. His neck is all sweaty for it is a hot day outside. He stops for a moment to look in his breifcase and notices me looking at him taking notes. He starts to lightly jog and I follow. He goes faster and faster until he reaches his mercedes suv and flips me off and drives away.

Dieter Appelt

Dieter Appelt was born in 1935 in frankfurt. He grew up in a middle class family and became a photographer. Not much more to say on that. He was influenced more by art than other photographers and he is an artist as well. his pictures are weird. most of them include mud but i went for the weirder ones. his style is obscure message making i suppose? the messages subtly suggest mesages of grimness and ill being as it seems to me.

I had quite the time attempting to find this dude Nigel Parry's work on the internet. There were like 3 pictures. Literally. Bleg. Yeah and the other like 4 I found were restricted on my server. LAME! On the firest two pictures I like that they are like the male and female version of the same picture. The third picture is nice and stuffy and cool. Its kind of weird too because it is all jammed up and he kind of looks oriental. The fourth picture makes another black dude look dead serious and I put those in order like that to show the comparison between goofy and stuffy to dead serious and a little more breathing room. The last picture I like because I'm a teenage male. And I like it because its a human on a totally white background and makes it look cooler.
